Trulia Brand Refresh
Overview: After being acquired by Zillow Group, the Trulia brand was asked to differentiate itself from the master brand. Research led us to position Trulia as the app for first-time homebuyers who need more support and education through their home search.
I led the team in a year-long brand refresh, resulting in a new brand book, logo, style systems, and a full-funnel product and marketing redesign.

Brand Book
With buyers, renters, and realtors to account for, the brand book needed to serve multiple audiences. The north star was Zillow Group’s master brand positioning.
Trulia’s younger consumers had different ideologies, priorities, shopping habits, and tastes. This came through in the more approachable and supportive tone of the brand attributes and styles.

In addition to the rebrand’s visual and tonal updates, the product was updated with new discovery features that made shoppers home buying journey easier and more enjoyable than ever.
