Trulia Brand Strategy
& Refresh

 

After being acquired by Zillow, the Trulia brand needed to refocus its positioning and refresh its branding in order to differentiate among consumers. Through deep partnership with the Brand Marketing team, we homed in on young, first-time homebuyers as the app’s primary consumer. I led my team in a year-long brand refresh, including new brand principles, manifesto, logo, color palette, brand voice, typography, and the creation of Trulia’s first brand book. My team partnered with the UX team to translate this vision into our component library and product suite.
