Trulia Brand Refresh

The Trulia brand and logo hadn't been updated for over 7 years—it needed to be modernized, humanized, and aligned to the company's brand values. I led the brand refresh over the course of a year,  including a logo refresh, new color palette, new typeface, and the creation of a 35-page brand book that tells the Trulia story. Once the brand elements were solidified, I worked with the UX team to translate the vision into our component library and product suite. Throughout this process, I worked with our writer to define and execute the brand voice. During my time at Trulia, I also built the Brand Creative team from the ground up, hiring and mentoring a team of three marketing designers and a copywriter. I was always a hands on CD, contributing to design and writing initiatives while leading the team.
